How the model works
Every 15 minutes the model re-evaluates all open markets — checking for line movement, injury updates, and changing consensus across 10+ sportsbooks.
Each candidate pick is scored across 6 signal types: devigged probability, line movement direction, book consensus, game imminence, historical matchup data, and situational context.
Only picks clearing a 65%+ confidence threshold are surfaced for review. Most candidates are rejected — this keeps signal quality high and pick volume intentionally low.
Every pick passing the model threshold is reviewed by a human analyst who checks for context the model can't see: locker room reports, coaching tendency, travel fatigue, or motivation mismatches.
Picks publish at 9:00 AM ET (or 1 hour before the earliest game). After publication, picks are immutable. No retroactive changes. Ever.
